I appreciate this write up coach. I was watching your week 1 game last season versus Louisburg. I was interested in how your players performed so well without cramping in a week 1 game. Care to share how you get guys ready for week1?
It felt like not a lot of defenses had a great Hail Mary plan this season as 4 or 5 were completed in big games. Certainly something coaches on the defensive side might want to spend an extra few periods on this off season!

We don't condition in season. We make sure our practices intensity is high, without a lot of standing around.
Even though we aren't really a tempo team, we practice like it on offense.
On defense we make all 11 sprint to the ball no matter what we are doing.
That has seemed to work well for us, we've never really had a big issue with cramping.
